Trusting God Through It All!

Happy Wednesday!

It has been a while since I last reached out and today feels like the perfect time to reconnect. Life has a way of carrying us through unexpected seasons, some joyful, some challenging, but no matter where we are, there is always a reason to hold on to hope.

As I reflect on the apostle Paul’s journey, I am reminded of his unwavering faith despite hardships. Beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked. He endured trials that would have broken most people. Yet, through it all, his heart remained steadfast in God’s promises.

Life has pressures that will try to bully you into becoming a quitter. The enemy tries to convince us into giving up and quitting.

BUT DONT DO IT!!
YOU ARE NOT DEFEATED AND YOU NEVER WILL BE……. UNLESS YOU QUIT!

God has the answers for us in every situation. No matter how much the enemy tries to pile things on our plate, do not despair. You do not have to eat the cares of life. God did not create us with the ability to handle everything. He gave us the ability to CAST EVERYTHING ON HIM!

“You cannot handle it all, but you can Trust God through it all!”

Paul understood that contentment does not come from circumstances but from an unshakable trust in Christ. He praised God from a prison cell, proving that joy is not found in comfort but in knowing who holds our future.

We, too, face moments of struggle. Life may not be unfolding the way we envisioned, and uncertainty can creep in. But this is the time to choose joy, trust God, and bloom where we are planted. In our songs of praise amid adversity, God meets us, and the Holy Spirit, our divine Comforter, ministers to our hearts. The Lord has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, so we have no reason to fear. No fretting, no regretting, just trusting that His Word is truth.

Paul’s example teaches us that perseverance begins with where we place our faith. Do we believe in the One who carries us? He wrote, “I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed” (2 Timothy 1:12).

That same confidence can be ours today. We may not face shipwrecks or beatings, but each trial is an opportunity to root ourselves deeper in Christ.

What does the Bible say about trusting God?

The Bible has a lot to say about trusting God. But, let me start with one thing it does not say— it never says that it is going to be easy. Through the many lives we read about in the pages of Scripture— Abraham and Sarah, David, Paul, Peter, Job, Daniel, we see clearly that God is not concerned with how light of a journey it will be for us. He protects us, but that does not mean we will never face trials. Trusting Him always comes with a cost, but He is always there traveling with us, and it is worth it. The more we trust in God, the more we grow in Him. And news flash, He is not especially concerned with our happiness. He is concerned with our holiness.

Trusting God starts with knowing who God truly is and acknowledging that you are fully known by Him.

So today, I encourage you: walk boldly, trust fully, and rejoice despite the storm. Let this be a season of renewed faith, knowing that God is shaping your heart for His glory.

“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.” Proverbs 3:5 TPT

Love you always,

Joyce!

Prayer

Father, I come before You in the Name of Jesus, and I choose life today! I will walk in faith and not in fear. Because the Lord is on my side I will not fear what any man can do to me. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to open my eyes to any hidden areas of fear in my life.

Lord, Your Word says faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and I will build up my faith today by reading Your Word and acting on it. Thank You, Father, for the hedge of protection that You bring in response to my faith. Thank You that through the righteousness of Jesus I can confidently trust in Your peace and safety for my life and home knowing that Your angels are always on guard. I believe today! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
