Happy Tuesday Everyone! I pray that this newsletter finds everyone during GREAT! I want to encourage you. Know matter what you are going through today, don’t give up. Don’t cave in, and don’t quit. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 1 John 5:4 As a Christian, we walk in victory, overcoming the world. You might be enduring many difficulties and engaged in battles of many shapes and forms, all of which leave you feeling extremely discouraged, it is during this time you cry out to Jesus, and He will “gathers you in His arms” (Isaiah 40:11) and helps you to keep going, one day at a time, one encouragement at a time. You can overcome anything. Any temptation, sin, and every attack that comes against you. Your victory doesn’t come from your personal discipline, hard work, or effort. Your victory comes through faith in Christ Jesus. The same faith that saved you is the same faith that brings victory in your day-to-day living. What Does It Mean To Be an Overcomer? “Overcomers are followers of Christ who successfully resist the power and temptation of the world’s system. An overcomer is not sinless but holds fast to faith in Christ until the end. He does not turn away when times get difficult or becomes an apostate. Overcoming requires complete dependence upon God for direction, purpose, fulfillment, and strength to follow His plan for our lives. Because of Jesus living inside of you and giving you His strength and power, you can live radically different lives for Him. We are no longer weak and powerless; we are strong in the Lord, even when we are weak because it is then that He says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9. My prayer is that these words will encourage you today, dear friend and that you will hold onto the truth that, because of Jesus, you can overcome anything. You are no longer weak. You can accomplish all that the Father has called you to do, you can be all that God has called you to be, and you can have all that God has said you can have, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Every day you face the powerful enemy of the world. I’m not talking about the physical world; there is nothing wrong with mountains, rivers, or beautiful sunsets. I’m talking about the world system or culture. You live in a big bad world. The world is running away from God as fast as possible. The effects of sin and selfishness have wrecked the fallen world around you. If you aren’t careful, the world will suck you into its ways and seduce you to drift along with its rebellion toward God. How do you overcome this powerful enemy? Revelation 12:11 (ESV) And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Through your faith in Christ. You don’t have to wait until heaven to live the overcoming Christian life. Your victory was sealed on the cross, and God is actively fighting for you today. Just as God fought for the Children of Israel as they entered the promised land, God fights for you. Victory has already been won on the cross; you just need to allow God to bring about that victory daily. As a born-again Christian, you have overcome the world. The Christian life is more than following a set of beliefs; it’s living as a new creation in Christ. You are not the old person you once were you are new in Christ. In Ephesians 6: 10-13, we learn why we need the full armor of God – we’re engaged in a spiritual war! Prayer is not an option, it’s a critical component of a victorious advance! This is why Paul ends this teaching with a battle call to prayer – “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,” (ESV) An overcomer is not a special class of Christians; it is the call of God for every believer. Through your faith, you have overcome the world. Look at that promise again. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. – 1 John 5:4 Today I want you to know that. You are loved. You are beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are worth so much more than you can ever imagine. Your life has meaning and a purpose. You are stronger than you realize. You are not alone. You’re An Overcomer! Enjoy! Hooray! Your FREE BOOKMARK IS READY FOR PRINTING!

Happy Wednesday! It has been a while since I last reached out and today feels like the perfect time to reconnect. Life has a way of carrying us through unexpected seasons, some joyful, some challenging, but no matter where we are, there is always a reason to hold on to hope. As I reflect on the apostle Paul’s journey, I am reminded of his unwavering faith despite hardships. Beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked. He endured trials that would have broken most people. Yet, through it all, his heart...
